Pastoral Council

The pastoral council is comprised of a sample of parishioners of different ages and backgrounds who meet eight or nine times a year to advise the pastor on matters relating to the pastoral needs of the parish.  They are also called to bring forward issues that might need his attention and of which he may not be aware, or suggest solutions to difficulties. The Book of Blessings based on the Roman Ritual says: “The pastoral council provides the pastor with the wisdom of the laity for the good of the parish. Because of their knowledge and competence the members of the pastoral council are called to share with one another and with the pastor their insights honestly, with courage and prudence.  And so the parish is strengthened by the unity of effort achieved in reverence and charity.”  If you would like to contact one of the council members, click on their email address.
